Barron Trump's Sister-in-Law Reveals Why He 'Lays Low' In A Rare Insight Into His Personal Life
Unlike his more outspoken siblings, President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, 20, tends to keep to himself. The New York University sophomore tends to law low despite being “so cool,” according to his sister-in-law, Lara Trump.
On an April 8 episode of her podcast, The Right View, Eric Trump’s wife gave an update about Barron, who Donald shares with wife Melania Trump. When a fan asked what Barron Trump is really like behind closed doors, Lara replied, “Barron is so cool. I feel like he’s a sleeper, like, you want to hear more about Barron ’cause you see less of him.”
“He knows what’s going on out there. He’s up on all of it … he gets it,” Lara added about the internet’s obsession with Barron. “He gets what’s going on out there … he’s funny. He turned out to be a really great kid. … Barron’s cool. Don’t sleep on Barron, he’s the best.”
These positive comments come after Barron reportedly snubbed siblings Eric, Donald Trump Jr., and Ivanka Trump from his birthday in March. A source said to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack that this was done on purpose. “They’re not close — at all. This wasn’t an oversight. They were left off the list,” the source dished. “Melania is in charge, and she wanted this to be about Barron — not about Donald Trump, and not about his other children.”
“This was a small, controlled, private celebration. And certain people were simply not included,” another insider added. “Barron didn’t grow up with them in the same way. There isn’t a real bond there.”
One family member Barron is close to? His niece, Kai Trump, 18, who is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump. In a January appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Kai called “Uncle B” “a great guy.” She added, “He doesn’t like the public eye so much, which I understand. But he’s a great guy.”
