Schoolgirl, 13, ‘pinned down and sexually assaulted by gang of teen boys’ in terrifying attack
A SCHOOLGIRL was pinned down and sexually assaulted by a gang of teen boys in a horror attack, the mother of the victim has claimed.
The 13-year-old girl was assaulted in the Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford, East London, earlier this month.
The girl, who will remain anonymous, said she was outside Premiere Cinema in the shopping centre and was accosted by three boys who were with two girls.
The incident took place on May 7 around 3:30pm.
Her mum told MyLondon: “These boys approached her and then asked her for her Snapchat.
“She refused and said ‘I won’t give it to you’. They kept asking and she kept refusing.”

Horrifyingly, the mum added: “One guy got a bit nasty and pushed himself against her, touched her boob on top of her clothing.
“He pushed her back and sat on her and pinned her down. Then one of his friends pulled his trousers down and his pants in front of her face.”
The mum claimed how one of her daughter’s friends started to get scared “so she ran to get security” who “managed to catch one or two of them then the police were called”.
The girl’s mum said her daughter managed to scratch one of the teens.

But she was unable to take her for DNA tests as she was only made aware of the incident three weeks later.
The mum admitted she only found out because of a more recent altercation following the incident.
Speaking about the effect on her “strong girl” she claimed “she has been fine”.
But the mum noted: “She did not tell me because she was worried I would stop her going out with her friends.
“I am just shocked that she did not tell me.”
The mum said she was “a bit upset” her daughter did not tell her about the attack but says “she was really upset” once they chatted about it.
Sadly, the mum said she “noticed she changed how she dresses” and she reckons the horror attack “has had a psychological effect” on her daughter.
The mum added she has told her the attack is not her fault and she can “wear what she wants”.
She slammed: “The boys around here are feral, it’s a nightmare around here at the moment.”
