CT man found unresponsive in car dies following apparent stabbing
Police are investigation a fatal stabbing after an unresponsive man was found in a vehicle in Hartford on Thursday.
Officers responded to the area of 40 Plainfield St. around 3:33 p.m. Thursday on a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle, according to the Hartford Police Department.
As officers arrived at the scene, they found the man, later identified as 41-year-old Jason Williamson of Windsor, suffering from a stab wound, police said.
Life-saving measures were performed by Hartford Fire Department personnel until EMS arrived at the scene, according to police.
Williamson was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
According to an NBC Connecticut report, police allege that fight occurred in Keney Pak, where they believe Williamson was stabbed. The police alleged Williamson then drove to Plainfield Street where he was found.
The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are conduction the investigation.
