Morgan Riddle Alludes to Breakup With Tennis Star Taylor Fritz

Earlier this month, rumors began to circulate online that lifestyle influencer Morgan Riddle had split from American tennis star Taylor Fritz.

Not long later, Riddle broke her silence on social media with a post clearing up the breakup rumors. Riddle cheekily wrote, "@taylor_fritz damn did you know about this??"

While the post calmed speculation for some time, a new report surfaced just a few weeks later suggesting the couple has called it quits.

"After nearly six years together, Riddle ended the relationship with the tennis star," People wrote, citing a source. A different source told a slightly different story, calling the split "mutual" but ending with the same conclusion that the couple isn't together anymore.

Morgan Riddle Shares Cryptic Post

Riddle didn't respond to a request for comment from People, but she did take to social media on Saturday afternoon appearing to confirm the news.

A series of photos with the caption "is this thing on..." alluded to a split. One of the photos shows a subway car announcement that reads, "the next stop is" before another post read, "I'm you from the future and I have wonderful news, everything is about to change."

Perhaps the most clear indication of the split was a t-shirt that read, "world's best ex girlfriend."

Riddle and Fritz first began dating in 2020, after the two met on Raya, a members-only dating app, when the influencer had just moved to Los Angeles and was looking to meet new people and friends.

"Because it was during Covid, no restaurants were open, no bars were open so we ordered sushi," she previously told People. "We went to his place and I made him watch Midsommar with me, the really messed up horror movie. Why I chose that as my first introduction to a guy, I don't really know. I think I traumatized him a little bit."

Riddle was a mainstay at tennis events around the world, cheering on one of America's best tennis players. That appears to have come to an end, though, as the French Open draws near.
