He's achieved more than Armstrong though, who whilst looks promising hasn't had a 6 month spell of looking like a pretty fantastic young talent at premier league level.Well yes. Any young player could take a massive leap and become great. All current evidence suggests he was a very poor signing though. I wouldn't be surprised if he was out on loan next season which is probably better than the alternative of him not getting minutes here
It can always be wait and see but I cant imagineb any of us thought most of these players would be ao unsuccessful in the short term. With hindsight the only player we would have bought is KDH.
We wait and see thats all we can do but for me I think we'll be 2 years in and he still will have barely played a game for us
People get a semi on for Armstrong because he's come through the academy, and worry about Dibling because he cost £32m... But in reality, so far at least, Dibling has shown more than Armstrong at almost the same age.
Maybe both will become stars, maybe neither, maybe just one... Who knows eh? Certainly not going to write Dibling off for a good while yet though.
