Man sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping teenager
A fast track court in Phulbani has sentenced Kailash Chandra Swain to 20 years rigorous imprisonment. He was convicted of raping a 13-year-old girl in Kandhamal district six months ago. The court also imposed a Rs 20,000 fine. The victim will receive Rs 5 lakh compensation. The incident occurred in October last year.
