Denmark name squad for first-ever U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup appearance
The Danish U23 Men’s National Softball Team has announced its roster for the WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup, set to take place from April 25 to May 3 in Sincelejo, Colombia.

Head Coach Kim Hansen has included four players with previous World Cup experience at U-18 level (2020, Palmerston North, New Zealand): Victor Elsner, Magnus Kirstein, William Melin and William Schaufuss. The remaining players will make their debut on the world stage.
Denmark is one of two teams making their debut in the U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup, alongside hosts Colombia. They finished second in the European Championship, earning the ticket to Sincelejo.
Ranked No. 19 in the WBSC Men’s Softball World Ranking, Denmark enters the tournament as the lowest-ranked team in the field. They will open the tournament in Group B, facing No. 2 Venezuela, No. 4 Canada; No. 6 Australia; No. 8 Mexico and no. 10 Singapore.
