Arkansas transfer Karter Knox commits to Louisville
By JAMES MADDEN
Pat Kelsey and Louisville just keep adding in the transfer portal. They’ve now added their third transfer of this year’s cycle in Arkansas transfer Karter Knox.
Knox, a 6-foot-6 guard originally from Tampa, he averaged 8.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in just 22 games for the Razorbacks this season, suffering a season-ending knee injury in February.
After two seasons at Arkansas, the former top-25 recruit will join a loaded transfer portal class at Louisville.
He’s the Cardinals’ third pickup off the cycle, joining top-ranked Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga and Oregon transfer Jackson Shelstad.
With the departure of Knox, it’s increasingly likely that Arkansas will lost its top-four guard from this past season, with Knox transferring to Louisville, DJ Wagner entering the transfer portal and Meleek Thomas and Darius Acuff Jr. likely both headed to the NBA Draft.
