View Premier League Trophy and FREE ENTRY – This Sunday!
View Premier League Trophy at last Dartford Women’s home match this Sunday: Free entry for all!
The Premier League Trophy will be at Princes Park this Sunday for a vital match in the women’s push for promotion.
This is a great opportunity for fans and locals to get a rare, close-up look, of the famous Premier League Trophy and to get a photo with it before the match kicks off at 13:00 – with entry free for all.
Dartford Women face Newhaven in the London & South East Premier Division. With a game in hand over league leaders Saltdean United, and three over second-placed Brentford, the Darts sit five points off first and just three off second. This crucial clash could see the team leapfrog Brentford in their bid for promotion to the FA Women’s National League. It is player sponsor day for the women and there will be a singer after the match in the Champions Bar.
The club has secured the iconic Premier League Trophy at this match to further drum up the atmosphere towards the end of this entertaining and successful season and encourage more fans to the match. It comes after the League celebrated its ‘More Than a Game’ initiative, which spotlights the competition’s investment into communities and all levels of football nationwide.
This includes £12.7 million specifically committed to the women and girls’ game between 2025 and 2028 – including £2.7 million for the Women’s National League strategy.
Also supporting the men’s and women’s game across the country, this season marks 25 years of the Premier League Stadium Fund. This has distributed more than £220million of Premier League investment to upgrade infrastructure at over 1,000 men’s and women’s clubs throughout the English Football League, National League and football pyramid.
