Minimalist watches are everywhere—but few balance clean design with real durability. The new Victorinox Concept One line brings Swiss engineering to a sleek, understated package, with both automatic and solar-powered options. Built for everyday wear, these versatile timepieces combine refined styling with the kind of toughness Victorinox is known for.
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication—that’s why we love the just-released Concept One watch collection. It’s an adroit execution of understated design coupled with precision engineering. The solar version features a plain curved dial and is available in black, blue, and gray. The automatic offers a vertically brushed dial in black, blue, and green.

Both variants deploy a 100-meter-water-resistant, 39mm, stainless steel case with a brushed finish. For contrast, the inner portion of the sloped hexagonal bezel is sunray-satin polished. Each is fitted with lume-filled baton indexes and sword style hands as well as a date window at 6 o’clock.
Inside, the Concept One Automatic uses a La Joux-Perret G100 movement with double anti-shock protection to keep time. The calibre offers a 68-hour power reserve and is accurate to -4/+6 seconds per day. The solar-juiced version, Victorinox’s first, is powered by a Ronda 215 quartz caliber and good for -10/+20 seconds a month with a battery life of about 8 years.

Both Concept One Automatic and the Concept One Solar come on dial matching rubber straps, or, in the case of the black variants, an optional stainless steel bracelet. Each option uses Victorinox’s tool-free changeable strap system for easy wrist wrap swaps.
The Concept One models are available now at victorinox.com. The solar models retail for $900 on rubber and $1,100 on the bracelet. The automatics can be purchased for $1,450 with a rubber strap and $1,650 on steel.
