UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
We ask you to think about your actions, before, during and after the match.
We remind all supporters that unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing in bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.
The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away, sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or, as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!
Walkways should be kept clear, and if seated in the stand you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a ground regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.
Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, colour, gender, religion, creed or sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.
Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, stewards and club officials over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
POST-MATCH FAN ENGAGEMENT
Supporters should note that following the final whistle, players will remain on the pitch for a lap of appreciation before walking down the tunnel. Supporters who wish to meet the players after the game for selfies and autographs should wait at the North East Carpark and players will meet and greet supporters here.
STADIUM LIGHTSHOW
The Easter Road lightshow takes place before selected domestic games and when the Hibees score.
In the summer of 2024, Hibernian Football Club made a major investment to enhance our supporters’ experience within the stadium. These improvements included a full upgrade of the stadium floodlights.
The health and safety of our supporters is paramount to Hibernian Football Club and we have consulted industry specialists prior to installing the lights to ensure they conform to all accepted standards.
The lightshows will not contain any light sequences of unusual frequencies that would raise concerns about photosensitivity among the general public.
The shows all adhere to the strict guidelines for lightshows and broadcast media. They have been used in other stadia without adverse effect and have been approved for use in a public setting.
Although we have gone to great lengths to ensure the shows are safe for all to enjoy, we would still advise any supporter who may find such lightshows uncomfortable to consider whether it is best for them to avoid being in the main stadium bowl during any show.
In this regard appropriate notice and details will always be given ahead of any lightshows on the club website supporter match day information page and through our social media channels.
