WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 - By the Numbers
The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association (CTBA) will host the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS from July 25 to August 3 in Tainan. We want to take a look at some intriguing numbers to help baseball fans worldwide get familiar with the eighth edition of an event which is unique in international sport. No other International Federation runs a World Cup for players 12 and under.
1 - The WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup has had only one host. CTBA has hosted all the editions since since the tournament first started in 2011.
2 - Only two programmes have claimed the title of U-12 Baseball World Champion: USA (five times) and Chinese Taipei (two). Chinese Taipei have also won four silver medals.
3 - Cuba, Venezuela and Japan have also won a silver medal.
4 - This will be the fourth edition of the U-12 Baseball World Cup that Tainan hosts at the Asia Pacific International Baseball Stadium.
4 - Four programmes have participated in all editions: Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei and Mexico.
5 - All the five Olympic contiments are represented in the U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025.
6 - In the U-12 Baseball World Cup each game is six innings.
