Reimagined Little House On The Prairie gets some new residents
The Little House On The Prairie is getting pretty crowded. Netflix’s “kaleidoscopic” reimagining of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s classic, semi-autobiographical book series just announced a bunch of supporting cast members. New prairie denizens (with Netflix-provided description for those who haven’t thought about this story since middle school) include Jocko Sims as Dr. George Tann, “a generous and kind-hearted man with a charming bedside manner that makes him a connector within the community,” Warren Christie as John Edwards, a Civil War vet who “catches the eye of every single woman in the county,” Meegwun Fairbrother as Mitchell, “a successful farmer [who] built the most impressive homestead in the county,” Alyssa Wapanatǎhk as White Sun, Mitchell’s “opinionated, beautiful” wife, Wren Zhawenim Gotts as Good Eagle, a storyteller and Mitchell and White Sun’s daughter, and Xander Cole as Little Puma, White Sun’s “good-hearted, but bull-headed” little brother.
