My wife’s pregnant with my baby but I want to leave her – people say my marriage is ‘toxic’ and we should divorce now
A RESTLESS man has shared that he wants to leave his pregnant wife.
Critics advised him to divorce her immediately after hearing his side.
Redditor Conscious-Total4375 shared his marriage problems in a viral post.
“My wife has been having an emotional affair for months. We got pregnant during an attempt to make up, but she’s still talking to him,” he said.
He explained that he’d caught his wife in an emotional affair, but she seemed to have no remorse.
“My wife has been engaged in an emotional (and one or two make-outs, allegedly) physical affair,” he said.
“It started in August; I caught her in September, again in October, December, January, and now late May.”
While he was no longer happy being married to her, he felt he was caught in a morally grey situation.
“She is six weeks pregnant. I am, for a variety of reasons, which don’t matter, 99.999999999% sure it is mine. As sure as you could ever be.”
He explained that for the duration of her pregnancy, his wife has refused to stop emotionally cheating on him.
“In a vacuum, it feels pretty dumb/cold to walk out on her because she is texting someone,” he said.
“With context, she has spent nine months refusing to break things off with this other person despite my many emotional pleas, threats of divorce, etc.”
He added that while he tried to be understanding, he eventually ran out of womb with his patience.
“I do not want to be married to this woman any longer, and she does not deserve to be my wife.
“She has betrayed and ignored me at every step and is not remorseful about any of it.
“That said, abandoning an unborn child is just not something I ever thought would be something I’d consider, let alone be leaning strongly towards doing.”

Viewers advised him to divorce her and not to look back.
“File for divorce because she won’t stop cheating,” said one commenter.
“You don’t need or want to bring a child into a toxic environment. You also may be 99.9% sure the child is yours, but you need to get a paternity test.
“I also don’t think that they stopped at [just] making out unless you are certain they did.
“It’s better to raise a child in two happy homes than one that is toxic and unbearable.”
Others couldn’t help but agree that a divorce was the best move for both him and the baby.
“[Keeping] a broken home together is not a heroic act. Your kid will suffer more in a miserable home with you together than two adult co-parents,” said another.
