Reese Witherspoon Goes Classic Glamour in Strappy Stilettos at Tiffany’s Celebration of Blue Book Event
Reese Witherspoon opted for classic glamour in barely-there, black stiletto sandals at Tiffany’s star-studded Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste celebration on Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The actor’s simple-yet-elegant look allowed the plethora of (borrowed) Tiffany diamonds, including a choker inlaid with several rare canary yellow diamonds, to do the talking. Her footwear was a red carpet classic, featuring slim black straps across the toes and ankles and a tall stiletto heel.
Witherspoon brought her daughter Ava Phillippe to the star-studded launch of Tiffany & Co.’s newest high jewelry collection: Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste. The 157-piece collection, part of which was on display at the fete, is a tribute to Jean Schlumberger’s surreal Tiffany designs.
Gabrielle Union, Anja Taylor-Joy, Usher, Quinta Brunson, Gal Gadot, and also attended the soirée held at the ritzy Beverly Estate, where scenes from “The Godfather” and “The Bodyguard” were filmed.
Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James fashion brand recently reunited with Jack Rodgers shoes to revive their popular 2018 sandal collab, just in time for warmer weather. The new release includes three sandal models that merge the signature Jack Rogers silhouettes with subtle details like an embroidered magnolia flower, a symbol synonymous with the Draper James brand.
The three new Draper James x Jack Rodgers include the Flat sandal in white and navy, the Flat leather sandal in platinum, and the Magnolia embroidery sandal in natural raffia and retail between $128 and $168.
Witherspoon’s Draper James, which is inspired by classic American style with a hearty helping of Southern charm, has also released other footwear offerings in recent years, including sneakers with Tretorn in 2002 and 2023, as well as an in-house shoe collection in partnership with Aldo.
Stiletto Sandals
Stiletto sandals are a red carpet mainstay, as their often-simple design and heel add elegance and go well with nearly any dress. The classic stiletto sandal features a simple strap across the toes and a fastener strap around the ankle, creating a barely-there construction. As trends change, stiletto sandal designs may reflect them, with different strap designs, materials, colors and even rhinestones or other embellishments. Jewel-tone metallic strappy sandals are currently very on-trend. The heel of a stiletto sandal is often 4 inches or above, adding some height for a flattering silhouette.
