Gallery: David Gray Completes ‘Cycle For Autism’
‘Sir’ David Gray completed the gruelling ‘Journey Home From Hampden’ cycle on Sunday (5 May, 2024) raising money for the Hibernian Community Foundation.
Joined by over 50 Hibernian FC supporters and members of the Club’s coaching staff, Gray cycled over 50 miles from Hampden Park to Easter Road Stadium, paying homage to his winning goal in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final.
In his testimonial year, Gray was raising funds to enable another 180 children with autism and other neurodiverse conditions play weekly football in the Hibernian Community Foundation’s Team United programme.
For young people with autism, stepping onto a football pitch can feel like entering a world that’s not designed for them. Team United’s programmes help these young people to learn more than just the game – they find confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging on and off the pitch.
Gray was aiming to raise £20,000 and supporters can still donate by CLICKING HERE!

Finally, a special thanks goes to The Hibernian Matchday Programme for sponsoring the event.
