I’m a Ted Baker super fan who’s gutted it’s going into administration – my 10 top picks to buy before it disappears
IT seems like all our favourite stores are disappearing from the high street, with Ted Baker also announcing that it has gone into administration.
With the future of its 46 stores now in doubt, I’ve found the top ten picks you’ll want to bag from the British brand – before it disappears.

As a self-confessed Ted Baker superfan, I’ve been in love with its soft pastels and timeless silhouette – pretty ironic for a brand that started off designing menswear.
It’s not hard to see why though, as there are countless classic dresses that were perfect for work and occasion wear.
While I prepare to say goodbye to the brand, there is one item that I’m not quite ready to let go of just yet: the Allicon Mock Croc Icon Tote.
Unlike other workbags, this handbag had a classic boxy design and was large enough to store all your work essentials – including your laptop.
Featuring the iconic Ted Baker branding embossed over faux croc leather, this chic bag was the perfect addition to your working wardrobe.
While you could go for classic black, there are endless colours to choose from including a coral, nude or even hot pink for any Barbie girls out there.
Currently £39 on the Ted Baker website, this wardrobe staple won’t stay on shelves for long.

As the name suggests, this bag is smaller in width but still has a deep internal pocket.
This makes it perfect for carrying your essentials around in the warmer weather.
The faux croc leather look also adds an elegant touch to any outfit.
With mutiple colours to choose from including lemony yellow, lilac and classic black, you’ll want to buy them all.

You probably associate Ted Baker with occasion wear, you might be surprised to learn that they make accessories for your gadgets too.
Not only will this £30 case protect your phone with its thick antishock plastic, but it also has a stunning rose design in shades of light green and blush pink.
Perfect for anyone who is accident-prone like me, you won’t have to worry about your tech getting ugly dents and scratches with this pretty case.
Having lusted over a friend’s Ted Baker phone case in sixth form, I’m slightly gutted that I don’t have an iPhone just so I could finally indulge.

Capsule wardrobes are all the rage right now and many women are trying to reduce their closets to a few carefully selected timeless pieces.
Thankfully, Ted Baker has a beautiful basic with the Myshill Ribbed Knit Cami (£39).
You’ll use the essential again and again, as it can easily be styled with a pair of black high waisted trousers for a chic office look.
When the weekend finally comes, you can style this wardrobe essential with classic blue jeans, tortoiseshell sunnies and white trainers – and still look like you made an effort.
Originally coming in white or black, this stunning racer-back cami is already selling out online with limited shades and sizes available.
If you want to avoid disappointment, it would be worth checking in your local store for your size.

With Ted Baker potentially disappearing from the high street, I’m gutted to see the brand’s perfumes will be leaving shelves too.
These reasonably priced scents have beautiful botanical packaging, which looks like it belonged in Selfridges – except you could find them in Boots.
As we prepare to say goodbye to the high street giant, I’m currently stockpiling the Ted Baker perfumes – including this Miya fragrance (£20) which has a citrusy and sweet aroma.
Scented with raspberry, rose, patchouli and amber, the elegant perfume is the perfect pick-me-up before heading to work.

With wedding season fast approaching, many brides are getting ready for their big day.
If your little ones still need an outfit, the Lacenn dress (£63) might be the perfect fit for your flower girl.
The sleeveless dress is stunning and has a delicate floral design with wildflowers in pastel shades.
Made with three tiers and beautiful ruffles along the shoulders, any of your guests would be adorable in this show-stopping dress.
The dress, however, is made from recycled polyester and cotton making it sturdy enough to survive kids running around in it at the after-party.

Woven bags are a summer staple and it’s not hard to see why I’m obsessed with this one from Ted Baker.
A compact, crossbody bag, the Paulii (£50) has beautiful faux leather detailing which makes it look more high-end than high street.
Even better, you can convert the bag to suit your style as it has a detachable cross-body strap and small top handles too.
Whether you are at Wimbledon or a wedding, this chic little bag will be your go-to this summer.

Like many girls in the noughties, I received multiple Ted Baker gift sets over the years.
Whilst some people might complain that it’s a low-effort present, I loved the bold floral packaging and the toiletries that lurked inside.
Sadly, my favourite has long been discontinued but I still love the Floral Fancies set.
Not only is the violet and bergamot scent incredible, the body lotion incredibly creamy and doesn’t dry out my hands.
As it was only £8 in Boots, I don’t expect this set to stay on shelves for long – which is a shame.
This gift set were a much loved additional to my Christmas stocking most years[/caption]Peony & Camellia Body Spray (£4)
It wouldn’t be a Ted Baker haul without at least one body spray, would it?
The gorgeous little scents could be found in my handbag for the better part of a decade and I’d always add one to my basket when I was in Boots.
One of my favourite Ted Baker buys, I’m honestly a little heartbroken that their floral scent might soon disappear from my work bag – especially the Peony & Camelia (£4).
