St. Martinville Police search for suspect in 2021 homicide
ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) – St. Martinville Police are looking for a suspect in a 2021 homicide case.
According to St. Martinville Police, officers were called to the 100 block of Audrey Circle on August 23, 2021 for a reported shooting. On arrival, they found a dead man who would later be identified as Martez Doucet, 23 of St. Martville. An investigation determined Doucet died from gunshot wounds.
Officers were able to obtain information on a suspect. On video, the suspect is seen arriving in white t-shirt and then later leaving the scene wearing a dark-colored muscle shirt and dark blue jeans.
