NYSP: Three arrested for organized retail theft at Home Depot
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Friday, State Police and the Town of Poughkeepsie Police arrested three individuals following an enforcement targeting organized retail theft. Police say Christopher Dale, 33, of New York, NY, and Neigabe Stewart, 41, of Mount Vernon, used $1,400 in counterfeit money to purchase goods from Home Depot.
Shefqet Krasniqi, 44, of Wappinger, was found with the stolen merchandise valued at around $1,270. Krasniqi was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and issued an appearance ticket to the town of Poughkeepsie Court.
Dale was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, grand larceny in the fourth degree, and conspiracy in the fourth degree. He was arraigned in the town of Poughkeepsie Court and released under the supervision of the Dutchess County Probation Department.
Stewart was charged with conspiracy in the fourth degree and arraigned in the town of Poughkeepsie Court. Stewart was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
