I was so upset when I got a huge bald spot on the top of my head from stress… a 79p vitamin helped fix it
A WOMAN who’s hair was falling out due to stress, has shared the 79p vitamin that left her locks looking healthy again.
Andrea Ventura shared details of her haircare journey via a video posted to her TikTok channel @andreventurrr.

“I felt so alone and even more stressed seeing so much scalp, but my dermatologist assured me that it was going to get fixed, and she was right.”
When Andrea’s hair was at it’s worst, it was extremely thin, with visible bald patches on her scalp.
However, it is now looking so much healthier thanks to six key things.
One of the things that helped Andrea get her hair to grow back was taking Vitamin C tablets, which can be purchased from Boots for as little as 79p.
Vitamin C deficiency can cause hair to become brittle and to shed, so taking supplements help to keep hair thick and healthy.
Another thing that Andrea used to help her hair to improve was minoxidil.
Minoxidil is an over the counter medication that helps to stimulate hair growth.
It can be purchased online for around £20.
Andrea said that she also found platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections helpful.
PRP injections involve a clinician taking a blood sample from a patient and then placing the sample into a centrifuge to create platelet rich plasma.
The platelet rich plasma is then injected back into the target area (in this case the hair).
Platelet rich plasma can stimulate cell reproduction and tissue regeneration, so can help with hair regrowth.
However, PRP is a pretty expensive treatment, and it costs hundreds of pounds for one session with a dermatologist.
Andrea also said that she reduced using heat on her hair and stopped putting it in tight ponytails, both of which can cause hair damage and shedding.
Her hair is now looking so much thicker, and tons of baby hairs have started to grow.
Andrea’s video has likely left many impressed, as it has racked up over 93,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
One person said: “I’m so encouraged that you were able to reverse it.”
Another person said: “Wow! Looks amazing!”.
A third person chimed in: “I’m currently going through this”.
