This budget product also prevents fogging in the bathroom.
Roxie was thrilled to share this simple but effective cleaning hack in her post.
“Cleaning tip from your cleaning lady,” she said.
As a cleaning pro, she has cleaned hundreds of glass screens and said this product was by far the best.
Forget about expensive, all-singing, all-dancing cleaners.
Instead, head for the men’s section in the drug store and pick up some shaving cream.
She used Barbazole, but you can use any old shaving cream and you will only spend a couple of bucks at most.
Removing unsightly watermarks from a glass shower screen can take ages to remove.
But there was only one choice for her and it was shaving foam.
It will remove all traces of soap and shampoo scum.
Just spray the shaving foam all over the screen then remove it with a clean dry towel.
Voila, job done with barely any scrubbing at all.
From a lady who has cleaned many shower screens, this was a great endorsement for this method.
“Worked for me for three years and it has had amazing results when it’s finished,” she said.
Cleaning tips to elevate your home
Realtor Stephanie Booth shared her go-to cleaning tips with The U.S. Sun.
- Use dish soap and baking soda to scrub your stovetop and kitchen cabinets.
- Clean your carpets, dishwasher, and under appliances as soon as you move in.
- Make a crockpot potpourri of sliced lemons, vanilla, a sprig of rosemary, and two cups of water.
- Fluff your pillows but don’t worry about karate-chopping them.
One commenter said there was another advantage to shaving foam.
“It will prevent fogging,” they said.
Another cleaning pro said she couldn’t wait to try it out.
“I’m totally going to try this. I just scrub until my arm falls off or give up,” she said.
But there were even more ways of using shaving foam and one viewer explained how.
“I work in dentistry and I do this with my glasses so they don’t fog up when I’m wearing a mask,” she said.
