Dean then blamed Jean Slater for what had happened to Jade, but Jean and her partner Harvey have become suspicious of Dean’s strange behaviour.
Next week, Harvey sets up an Easter hunt for the kids and shares his concerns about Jean with Eve.
Back at the Slaters, Harvey bribes Lily to invite Jade over so he can keep an eye on her and is reassured that Jade is on the mend, but Dean reacts badly to find her at No.31 which piques Harvey’s suspicions further.
Later in the week, Harvey confronts Dean after he posts a slanderous message about him on an online community page and receives backing from Honey and Billy who vouch for Harvey’s character.
Harvey vows to get to the bottom of what Dean is doing to Jade’s health.
At Peggy’s, Dean is met with a cold reception from Chelsea who shares some home truths about his behaviour, which forces him to delete his post about Harvey.
Meanwhile, EastEnders fans can rejoice next week as Sharon Watts finally returns to Walford.
Following the death of fiance Keanu Taylor on Christmas Day, Sharon fled the Square to pay Michelle Fowler a visit in Australia.
But after weeks away, she finally reappears in Walford next week, and things are tense between her and best friend Linda Carter, who killed Keanu.
Sharon horrified to learn that Linda’s son Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), knows about what really happened at Christmas, and that the meat thermometer used to kill Keanu has gone missing.
Sharon calls a crisis meeting, terrified everything could be coming to a head for the Six.
She is right to be concerned too, as when the cafe floor collapses in, it isn’t long until Keanu’s body is found and Sharon receives a visit from the police.
