Professor T viewers spot major blunders in ITV drama starring Ben Miller
PROFESSOR T made a comeback for its third season on ITV tonight, but viewers were quick to pick up on some problems with the new plotline.
The popular crime drama follows the story of a university professor who has OCD, but also a gift for crime-solving.

Fans were left worried that the Professor T would not manage to cope with his OCD while in prison.
However, other viewers were more concerned with blunders they spotted about the way life in lockup works.
One person pointed out: “I like Professor T but this series is factually incorrect. He is in prison on remand unconvicted. Also another character accused of murder is remanded unconvicted.
“They are wearing prison clothes. You don’t unconvicted. You wear your own clothes.”
He also noticed another inaccuracy later, and went on to add: “Also they are both on the same block as convicted prisoners. This doesn’t happen. Convicted and unconvicted prisoners are kept separate.”
Someone else jumped on the bandwagon after realising one detail didn’t make sense.
They exclaimed: “Why is the accused boxer able to see his visitors face to face, while Prof T has to meet his behind glass!”
However, despite the drama getting some aspects of the prison system wrong, fans were delighted to see the criminologist back in action.
In order to keep his mind occupied while stuck in prison, Detective Lisa Donckers gave him a case to work on.
She arranged a visit with Professor T to explain a mysterious murder she was struggling to solve – involving two brothers and a man who was found fatally injured by a baseball bat.
