• The Town of San Anselmo hosts a flashlight egg hunt for kids ages 8 to 12 at 8:15 p.m. Friday, followed by a daytime egg hunt for kids ages 7 and younger at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park at 1000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in San Anselmo. Admission is free. Go to townofsananselmo.org.
• The Town of Tiburon and its Diversity Inclusion Task Force present the second annual festival to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian new year, featuring food, live music, dance and an arts and crafts table from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Zelinsky Park at 1505 Tiburon Blvd. in Tiburon.
