The ultimate aim is for them all to reconnect while making precious memories.
But during the show the men were all reduced to tears as they discussed how difficult the last number of years have been.
TOWIE star Mark’s dad was seriously ill with Coronavirus during the pandemic – leaving his family worried sick.
At the same time Mark senior’s brother – Josh and Mark’s uncle – tragically died with the virus.
The trio brought up his passing as Mark asked his dad whether uncle Eddie would have believed he went into a cave.
“He’s here with me, that’s why I done it,” replied Mark, adding: “Trust me, he’s here, I felt it, 1000%.”
“There was three of us in hospital with Covid. Eddie my brother, we were very good friends and not just brothers.
“It was horrendous when he passed away. To lose someone so close and have to tell my mum and dad was horrendous.”
At that point Mark senior became emotional before Josh could be heard saying: “He would be so proud, that’s for sure.”
A Wright Family Holiday is available on BBC iPlayer.
