Feisty I’m A Celebrity campmate hired a PRIVATE JET to dash home, Paul Burrell reveals
PRINCESS Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell has dished the dirt on the I’m A Celebrity campmate who hired a PRIVATE JET to dash home.
After the stars were faced with a six-hour or more delay to their flight, Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo refused to wait.
She chartered a private jet to get back to the UK as quickly as possible after weeks in South Africa.
In a bombshell interview with latest evictee Paul, the 64-year-old detailed the secrets of the all-star series.
He says the group all sat down together for dinner after filming wrapped.
But things unravelled at the airport home when a cancelled flight meant some of the group had to wait for six hours.
Stars including Helen Flanagan were said to have moaned about the delay, keen to get home.
Paul revealed: “Some people moaned about not getting the flight home.
“Well some of us had to stay an extra day in South Africa, in a hotel and miss our family for another day.
“So, calm down gang, calm down! You know, you’ve all had your moment of glory.
“Toff got herself a private jet to get home.”
Reflecting on Toff leaving the jungle earlier in the series than expected, Paul added: “When Toff left I thought that was very unfair. I had Toff in the final, in my head, because she’s feisty, she’s young, she’s funny. She’s everything the viewer wants.”
Meanwhile Paul claims controversial co-star Janice Dickinson shockingly quit the I’m A Celeb WhatsApp group after a string of cast bust-ups.
He says Janice is now shunned by the whole group after shock behaviour and declaring herself the most famous.
The former Royal butler said: “We have an I’m A Celebrity Legends WhatsApp group. And we all talk to each other as each night unfolds and we all say, wow, I didn’t know that happened.
“Now we’re watching it all, like the trials we did not see, and we’re seeing the context of everything.
“We’re constantly texting each other saying, oh you did that. Wow.”
And he added: “I do have rumbles to have.”
Paul added: “But I loved being in the jungle, it was magical and I’m so thankful.
“I met the most incredible bunch of people.
“Although there were little niggles along the way, that is human nature.”
