Norwich police seeking ‘person of interest’ in fatal shooting of teen

Police are looking to question a person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in Norwich on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers and detectives responded to Sandy Lane at about 1:40 p.m. on the report of a shooting and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Norwich Police Department.
The victim, identified as 19-year-old Camaury Jabezz Norman-Clack, was taken to William W. Backus Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 3:41 p.m., police said.
The death of Norman-Clack, who police say lived on Sandy Lane, is being investigated as a homicide, as police believe he was targeted. Investigators said they are looking to question 19-year-old Stancovitch Fabre, formally of Sandy Lane.
Fabre, according to police, is known to drive an older model, two-door red Mustang with gray “bondo” in various places.
