Row erupts over dress code at M S University
A row surfaced on a university campus on Friday when a student group entered into heated arguments with members of the university's vigilance staff. Both the group and the vigilance staff levelled allegations against each other. The row erupted after the group went to make a representation regarding an old dispute that had surfaced during the winter fiesta organised by the bba students association. Two girl students had entered into arguments over dress code during a dance programme later parents of both the girls had also come to make a representation in support of their wards. "Parents of both the girls were insisting that they want to register a police complaint after the controversy," said k r badola, associate director of the bba programme. "I had asked the security personnel to lock the building and ask everybody to leave the premises."
