Emmerdale boss teases explosive truth about Cain Dingle’s brother Caleb Miligan
CALEB Milligan has been shrouded in mystery since his first arrival in the Dales.
But according to Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson, Cain Dingle’s brother could bring havoc to the villagers.
What is Caleb Milligan hiding?[/caption] ITV viewers are convinced he’s up to no good[/caption] Caleb has never had a chance to bond with his family, could he seek revenge?[/caption]Former Waterloo Road star Will Ash made his debut in the Yorkshire-based drama on Christmas Day.
However, ITV viewers have grown cautious of any newcomer rocking up the eponymous village and Caleb makes no exception.
Fans of the long-running drama believe they’ve rumbled something sinister about Caleb.
Cain has somewhat confirmed their suspicions as the tough man played by Jeff Hordley is untrusting of his successful brother, despite him trying to form a bond.
And Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson recently promised that a dark twist was, indeed, ahead.
“Does he really want to be Cain’s brother or does he have ulterior motives?”, she questioned when speaking about what soap fans should expect from the Dales in 2023.
To make matters worse for Caleb, he has recently been teased to go into business with Kim Tate, a well-known long-standing foe of the Dingle clan.
“I think that’s a fascinating dynamic to watch”, Jane Hudson added before teasing that things were “not going to end well.”
“Whenever we have the big house and the villagers coming together in a story, it’s just not going to end well at all.”
Who will come out on top?
Could Caleb mean harm to Cain and the rest of the Dingles after being estranged from his family for so long?
Will his involvement in Kim’s stud farm create more issues between him and his own?
After learning that Kyle Winchester was responsible for Al Chapman’s death, Caleb was successful in speeding up Cain’s release from prison.
To top it all off, he even came up with a plan to help Kyle face the consequences of his actions without too much damage.

But in recent scenes, Caleb has slowly shown his true colours by trying to intimidate Cain who vowed he would kill his own brother if he didn’t leave the village.
Earlier this week (Monday, January 23), Caleb and Cain were shown talking outside Café Main Street about Kyle.
While Cain insisted Caleb stayed away from the young boy, the latter pushed his half-brother’s limits.
And upon encouraging Cain to “let go” of his anger, he insisted that he wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon as the rest of their family “seem really keen” on him staying in the village.
“I’ll bring you a coffee out. White, two sugars?”, Caleb concluded, adding insult to injury.
What chaos does he have planned?
Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
