#LAKings Rapid Review: Highlights and Notes from Kings 6-5 Loss to Flames (MayorsManor)
In some ways, it’s only appropriate that the Kings and Flames produced a 6-5 game on Monday night in Calgary. After many years of hearing coach Darryl Sutter talk about the NHL being a 3-2 league, the new reality was on full display. While defense still wins championships, regular season offense has been up for quite some time and this game was just the latest example.
Putting the score aside, LA coach Todd McClellan is likely still wondering, ‘What exactly do I have on my hands here?’
