I’m A Celebrity fans turn on Babatunde accusing him of ‘constantly putting campmate down’
I’M A Celebrity viewers have accused Babatunde Aleshe of “constantly” putting campmate Scarlette Douglas down.
The comedian has come under fire from fans of the show who have taken issue with his ‘insulting’ brand of humour.
Scarlette fancied herself as a comedian last night[/caption]However, some believe the pair have great chemistry and Babatunde is just engaging in playful banter.
Last night Scarlette revealed a desire to dip her toes into the world of comedy, but Babatunde felt she should stick to her day job.
Scarlette asked him and fellow comedian Seann Walsh: “So guys, be honest, do you think I could have a career in comedy?”
Babatunde bluntly replied: “No, definitely not.”

Undeterred, Scarlette hit back: “No? I think I’m naturally funny. You’ve laughed at me many times Baba.”
Doubling down, Babatunde said: “I’ve laughed at you. Sometimes I look at you and I’m like ‘ha ha ha’ and I get on with my day. Tell us a joke.”
Scarlette did little to change his mind when she said: “OK, what do you call a nosy pepper? Jalap-en-your-business.”
Later in the episode Babatunde took aim at Scarlette’s line of work as a property presenter.

Babatunde then tried to take on Scarlette’s role for a guided tour around camp but was booed by the A Place In The Sun presenter and Seann.
One viewer wrote: “Loving Babatunde epically failing at doing a basic TV intro after what he said to Scarlette!!”
Another said: “Not enjoying Babatunde’s constant putting down of Scarlette. You won’t die if you say something nice dude.”
