Gogglebox fans all have the same complaint after major schedule shake-up
GOGGLEBOX fans were left with a major complaint after the show was cancelled on Friday in a massive schedule shake up.
The Channel 4 show was aired on Saturday night after the hit show was replaced in its usual 9pm slot by Friday Night Live.

One wrote: “Gogglebox on a Saturday feels weird. #Gogglebox”
Another posted: “#Gogglebox on a Saturday night really isn’t right! It’s confusing me too!”
A third echoed: “Totally forgot about #Gogglebox being on tonight because Channel 4 put some god awful s*** on last night.”

“Ridiculous decision to put Gogglebox on a Saturday night, what the f*** was Channel 4 thinking?,” someone else fumed.
But not all fans agreed and said the schedule shake-up was a welcome change.
One fan posted: “Prefer Gogglebox on a Saturday. #Gogglebox”
Another posted: “I usually hate Saturday night television. Saturday night Gogglebox is fabulous.”

An announcer explained shortly before airing Send Nudes: Body SOS on Wednesday night: “It’s one for you diary. Brand new Gogglebox isn’t on its usual Friday night spot.
“Saturday at 9pm is your go-to for this week over on Channel 4.”
One furious fan said: “They didn’t just announce that #Gogglebox will be on Saturday nights instead of Friday nights from next week, did they?? I ruddy-well hope not.
@Channel4 We NEED our light-hearted Gogglebox by the end of the week on a Friday night! It’s what Friday nights were made for.”
Another added: “You can’t move #Gogglebox to a Saturday night to make way for Ben Elton….?”
Someone else worried: “Apparently Gogglebox has been moved from Friday to Saturday night.”
Gogglebox made way for a one-off revival of the stand-up and entertainment show Friday Night Live.
Fronted by Ben Elton the show returned as part of Channel 4’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The host was joined by co-horts from the original series such as Harry Enfield, Julian Clary and Jo Brand, and contemporary performers Rosie Jones, Mawaan Rizwan, Jordan Gray, Ronni Ancona and Sam Campbell, who provide a mixture of topical sketches and stand-up.
Plus, there was live music by Mercury Prize nominee Self Esteem.
