The Nation's Weather for Thursday, October 6, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold rain will fall from the Arrowhead of Minnesota, to
the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and far northern
Wisconsin, tomorrow. A few wet snowflakes could even mix in
with the rain. Elsewhere in Wisconsin, northern Michigan,
and northern Illinois, a few showers could dampen the
region, but the rain should be lighter than farther north
and no snow is expected. A weak disturbance could also cause
a band of rain showers to extend from southeastern Montana,
into western South Dakota. Mainly afternoon thunderstorms
will dot a zone from eastern Arizona, to the Texas
Panhandle. Conditions will finally improve along the New
England and southern mid-Atlantic coasts as a nor'easter
moves farther out to sea. Seasonably warm but dry weather is
forecast for continued cleanup in Florida.
