I’m an XXL & my bestie’s an XS – we tried the same Zara outfits, some looked amazing but others wouldn’t do up on me
TWO FRIENDS have shared their try-on haul of the same Zara outfits, with some pieces not meeting up to their expectations.
The women may have a similar style but they have different measurements, as clothing they bought from Zara did not fit well on both of their bodies.
Plus-size content creator Kristina Zias, an XL/XXL, shared her realistic try-on haul of Zara items with her friend, an XS to showcase the size disparities of the brand.
According to the model’s TikTok, much of her social media content is geared toward providing shopping hauls and outfit inspiration for her midsize and plus-size audience.
Part of her personal mission is “to find clothes that fit us” and accentuate everyone’s unique body shape.
In one TikTok video, Zias and her female companion try on four Zara ensembles that did not all pass the size-inclusivity test.

The video begins with the plus-size model and her friend holding bags from the fashion brand in matching casual outfits, wide-leg jeans, and a high-neck yellow tank top.
The first style the pair try on is a Zara lime green cropped jacket with their corresponding denim pants.
The plus-size model visibly bulges out of the top because the wrap feature doesn’t exactly fulfill its purpose of successfully wrapping around her entire body.
Her friend, on the other hand, fits into the Zara item perfectly, with ut carefully concealing her bust and showing off her waist.

The next item the duo display is a trendy pink pantsuit set complete with a sleeveless turtleneck hot pink crop top underneath the jacket.
Zias fills out the outfit almost perfectly, except it’s a bit tight in the crotch region.
Her companion seems to be swimming in it because the wide-leg pants and suit jacket appear to be too big on her slim frame.
The outfit changes don’t stop there because the friends then transition into their next Zara item, a white Asymmetric Skort, $39.90, and keep the hot pink turtleneck crop on their chest.
Upon first glance, they both look great in the skirt, but the sizing issues become apparent again when Zias can’t even zip up the side zipper on her body.
Her partner did not have the same difficulties with the bottoms.
The last look the two women exhibit has to be their best look yet and complement each other with the nice fit of a Zara two-piece burnt orange textured shorts set.
What makes the last look so special is that it was the only outfit from their entire haul that fit them both how it should.
There weren’t any gapping, rip concerns, length issues, or anything of the sort.
The two women tried on the same outfits but had completely different experiences with each article of clothing.
Viewers in the comment section of the video felt the same and let their feelings be known about their discomfort concerning the sizing of the brand.
“The fact that such a big brand like Zara doesn’t normalize big sizes and don’t have a lot of their “big size” clothes in the store is so sad,” one viewer commented.
