Celebs who struggled with having big boobs & their fashion hacks we all could use – from Kim Kardashian to Ashley Graham
A CURVY look has been Hollywood’s signature for years, but many big names have opened up about their struggles with their breast size.
Various celebs – from those who were naturally blessed in the chest department, to those who got them surgically enhanced – have shared some of their bust-related hardships, giving tips as well.
KIM KARDASHIAN
Known for her famous figure, Kim Kardashian isn’t exempt from body insecurities that can run rampant during the early teen years.
In ELLE UK’s Confidence Issue, Kardashian opened up about her past insecurities.
“I was unhappy with my body — I developed really early,” she told the magazine. “Every night I would sit in the bath and cry; I prayed my boobs would stop growing.”
Since then, Kardashian seems to have embraced her jugs, even sharing tricks to help fans feel confident in their bodies.

Kardashian once revealed that she sometimes tapes her breasts with Gaffer’s tape to make them appear perkier.
Her method adds great lift and support to the girls, making them look amazing in outfits that are difficult to wear with a traditional bra.
Using a model, in 2019, Kardashian demonstrated the hack on her Instagram story.
“I go right in over the nipple. I try not to go too much in by her neck because usually a dress comes in that way. You lift it to the desired lift. You try to not lift it too much to where it wrinkles,” Kardashian said, applying the nude tape on the topless model.

Applying the tape on the other side, the mogul said: “Guys this has been such a lifesaving secret that I learned on set of a fragrance shoot. The key to the tape is you do not want it to be too stretchy.”
DOLLY PARTON
Dolly Parton once joked that her breasts were insured, and the public ran with it.
Though seen as great assets, the singer and songwriter’s knockers have been a cause of struggle.
In 2004, she decided to reduce her surgically enhanced 40DD boobs after 30 years of sporting them and experiencing excruciating back pain.
That same year, doctors reportedly told the “Jolene” singer that her huge bust would need a reduction to help ease the extremely painful pressure on her back and shoulders.
Per Express.co, in an interview that year, Parton said: “My boobs are killing me – and I don’t know if I can stand the pain any longer.
“My boobs have been a trademark for me – but I’ve paid one hell of a price.”
ASHLEY GRAHAM
Plus-size model Ashley Graham is no stranger to the big boob struggle. In April of this year, she posted a video to her Instagram story to see if any of her fans could relate.
“Do you have such big boobs that when you don’t wear a bra, you get boob sweat and you just tuck in your shirt?” she asked followers.
Previously, Graham shared a great hack for women with bigger breasts that will make the experience of wearing a strapless bra so much better.
In a 2019 Instagram photo, the D cup model shared that the trick is to go down a size in your bra band to help keep your breasts in place.
Captioning the image, she wrote: “PRO TIP: the trick to a strapless bra if you’re over a DD cup is keeping your cup size the same but going down a size in the band (RN I’m a 38DDD so I wear a 36DDD for my strapless bras to keep the girls up).”
AMBER ROSE
Model and TV personality Amber Rose is one of many busty women who have considered a breast reduction.
In 2018, Teen Vogue reported that Rose decided to get a breast reduction after three years of mulling over the decision.
This came after experiencing regular pain due to the size of her breasts.
Her reason behind delaying the surgery is related to the fear of losing part of her identity.
“I was scared that I wouldn’t feel sexy anymore, but it got to the point where I literally was in pain. It was almost as if I had, like, a heavy backpack on my chest,” Rose said.
“I got my boobs when I was 14, but I would say, over the years, as my weight fluctuated, my boobs fluctuated. And, so, after I had my son, I mean, my boobs, they got bigger. They got way, way bigger. They definitely made me look older when I was a teenager, and also, I felt it made me look heavier as well because they were so big.”
She continued: “They weren’t implants or anything like that, and so my back was hurting me. There was times I would just walk and just stop and be like — it would kill me.”
In January of 2018, Rose went to a Beverly Hills–based plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, to reduce her 36H chest to a 36DDD, and she hasn’t looked back since.
She told People that “it’s like a dream come true.” It made what once was a struggle – feeling confident while wearing spaghetti-strap tops – a possibility.
She added: “Now when I’m running out the door, I don’t have to search for the right bra to fit within the shirt or to match the color of the shirt so it doesn’t show and look gaudy.”
“I can kind of just throw it on, and I’m like, ‘This is amazing!’ I’ve been missing this my whole life.”
BRITNEY SPEARS
Britney Spears once spoke on the struggle of having bigger breasts, highlighting her limited clothing options.
In 2008, the same year her conservatorship went into effect, the pop star said: “I have a love-hate relationship with my boobs. At the moment I hate them. I want them smaller.
“I can’t wear the kind of suits that I used to love, the red PVC one I got to wear for the ‘Oops I Did It Again’ video.
“I’m tempted to have a breast reduction so I can slink into some amazing stage outfits for my next set of shows. I know they look sexy but sometimes they get in the way.”
