A LOVE Island star has revealed their surprising friendship with Darius Campbell Danesh, following his death aged 41.
Amy Hart took to social media to pay tribute to the singer, after the news of his death on Tuesday.

In an emotional tribute, Amy penned: “Thanks for caring and being my friend when I was an air hostess from Worthing.
“Nothing to gain from our friendship (except for my top quality voice notes obvs.) But still wanted to be my mate.
“Could have hung out with anyone but would take me and my mum for dinner or drag Luke and I out clubbing. Hadn’t spoken for a few years but the best mems. So sad.”

Gareth Gates also paid tribute after he created a strong bond with the singer during his time on Pop Idols, has paid tribute to his beloved friend.
Gareth said in a statement tonight: “I can’t quite believe the news of my dear friend Darius passing. I’m heartbroken.

“Darius took me under his wing during our time in Pop Idol, like a big brother; always looking out for me and for that I thank you my friend.
“I will miss our chats. He was one of the most beautiful, intelligent and gentle souls I was lucky enough to know, a soul that lit up every room.

Darius’ ex-wife Natasha Henstridge also shared an emotional tribute.
Actress Natasha, who married the singer in 2011, shared a series of pictures of them together and wrote: “There are no words Darius… only Love Love Love. Forever Janam.”
She added a quote from Mother Teresa, which read: “I have found the paradox that if you love until it hurts there can be no more hurt- Only more love.”
