I’ll work on issues Sun readers care about from Day 1, says Rishi Sunak
TACKLING illegal migration is one of five major emergency responses I will tackle in my first 100 days as Prime Minister.
People are tired of seeing small boats arrive in this country with the authorities appearing helpless to stop them.
I know Sun on Sunday readers are patriotic, generous people who want to help those who play by the rules.
But they are rightly baffled why the Government can’t stop the boats drifting on to Britain’s beaches hour by hour.
Like many of you, I voted for Brexit in 2016 to take back control of our borders.
So we can and we will stop the boats under my leadership.

I’ll bring the best of British to stop the smugglers, by utilising our military, intelligence and diplomatic prowess.
I’ll make the Rwanda plan work.
And I’ll give Parliament control over the numbers we accept so your MP gets a vote for you.
