AT least five people are injured after a car rammed into a building near a luxury hotel, cops say.
The chaotic scene unfolded Monday afternoon on Broadway Avenue in Midtown Manhattan after a yellow cab jumped a curb and plowed into a building, striking several people.

Three people were transported in critical condition to Bellevue Hospital, while two others sustained non-life-threatening injuries, ABC7NY reports.
Their conditions remain unknown at the time; however, reports claim some victims are in critical condition.
Footage posted on the Citizen App showed the taxi SUV on the sidewalk with emergency personnel in the street.

A heavy police and fire rescue response was pictured at the scene.
Authorities say the cab collided with an SUV traveling southbound on Broadway.
The taxi then jumped the curb and struck at least five people before crashing into the side of a building.
