THIS stunning room in trendy East London with a skylight and antique roll-top bath is on the market for renters – but there’s a catch.
The double room in the 1930s converted warehouse needs a new inhabitant, but you won’t be the only one living in the space.
Potential renters will share the space with an “eclectic mix of people” in one of the last “truly spectacular” old-style warehouses.
There are five bedrooms surrounding a communal area that is a colossal 1200 sqft – featuring a plethora of antiques and vintage collectables.
Vintage pinup posters adorn the kitchen walls – and the space is fit with a wood-burning stove for chilly London nights.
And in the bathroom, one wall has exposed brick while the flooring is a classic black and white checker box pattern.
The space is filled with an antique French roll-top bath and a butler sink.
The bedroom on offer, which will cost you £830 before bills, is a loft-style room, with high ceilings and a mezzanine bed.

The listing on GumTree states: “It’s a fabulous, loft-style room with high ceilings and a mezzanine bed (which gives you the benefit of all the available floor space beneath).
“It’s a large ‘L’ shaped room with a permanently fixed desk space & shelves under the mezzanine. It can come part furnished with vintage pieces including a chesterfield chair, wardrobe, ottoman and a mattress.
“This is one of the last truly spectacular old-style warehouse shares left in Hackney, it’s part of a group of spaces inhabited by an eclectic mix of people; you won’t find many others like this in zone 2.”
The massive communal area has been previously used in photography shoots – but there’s no TV to instead encourage “the endangered pastime of conversation.”
And the antique rooms are not for the faint-hearted, as the walls are adorned in taxidermy.
But millennials can get excited about the flat’s overhead skylight, which gives plenty of natural daylight and is “ideal for our giant house plants.”
