Pregnant woman who stabbed her boyfriend to death in front of horrified children is jailed for life
A PREGNANT mum who screamed “f**k him” after being found guilty of murdering her boyfriend has today been jailed for life.
Hannah Sindrey, 24, stabbed Paul “Dod” Fletcher, 31, to death in a New Year’s bloodbath last year in front of her horrified kids.
Raging Sindrey, who was was dragged out of the dock screaming and shouting after she was convicted of murder at Basildon Crown Court.
The mum yelled: “F*** him. That’s what I think. F*** him. I don’t give a f***. F***ed off.”
Today Sindrey was jailed for life for killing her partner, and must serve a minimum of 14-and-a-half before she can apply for parole.
The callous mum had even tried pinning the murder on her friend Kelly Blackwell, 26, but she was found not guilty following a trial.
Both Blackwell and Sindrey were reportedly involved in a row with Fletcher before his death, but his then girlfriend delivered the fatal blow.
Judge Samantha Leigh heard that the couple had been in a “toxic” relationship, with Paul’s drug taking leading him to believe Sindrey was cheating on him.

He had even made her take a lie detector test to prove that she was not cheating on him.
The mum has since given birth to Fletcher’s son while awaiting her trial for his murder.
Judge Leigh accepted that Fletcher had been violent towards Sindrey, and had been released from prison in the October before he died for violent offences.
A good pal of “Dod” described how his friend was “jealous” and “over-powering” with constant messages sent to monitor her.
The court heard how Sindrey had once been left with a black eye after Fletcher felt she had disrespected his nan.
Sentenching Sindrey, Judge Leigh said: “It is clear that the deceased was preoccupied with the thought you were cheating on him, which you were not.
“His Class A drug use, along with his ADHD, was fuelling his paranoia, of that I am sure.
“There was abuse from him to you and as you accept, you were verbally abusive to him.”

His sister, Shelley, told the court of the family’s heartbreak following his death on January 1, 2021.
She said: “Our family is devastated, heartbroken and still in shock over the loss of my brother, Paul, ‘Dod’ Fletcher.
“A big part of us was taken the night he died in his own home.
“We are all trying to come to terms with it, everyone is in disbelief – never did we think for one second that Dod would be taken from us like this.
“The pain that everyone has in their hearts is overwhelming, seeing so many family members hurting at the same time is so heartbreaking for us to see.
“All of our lives will never be the same again.”
She said her brother was “turning his life around” with attempts to re-build his bond with his teenage son.
Fletcher’s 15-year-old son told the court, in a statement, that his dad was his ‘hero’ and that he believed he would not go back to prison again.
Basildon Crown Court heard that the couple had been arguing over claims Sindrey was cheating, and took her phone away from her to check her messages.

Fletcher, who had taken cocaine, also confiscated Blackwell’s phone which sparked the argument.
Sindrey’s two children and Blackwell’s four children, who were in the flat at the time, were said to be “hysterical”.
The mum grabbed a knife and stabbed her boyfriend – causing him to collapse in the hall.
She then ran to the balcony with blood on her hands screaming: “He’s been stabbed”.
Paramedics raced to the house but sadly Paul couldn’t be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
Blackwell later told jurors she heard her pal yell “you knew I would do it” as she waved the knife around the kitchen.
In a statement, his family said: “Our family have been devastated and are heartbroken following the death of Paul ‘Dod’ Fletcher.
“On the fateful night that his life ended, it destroyed so many other lives as well.
“Dod was a big part of everyone’s life. He was loved deeply by our family. He was a son, brother and father. His death has left us broken.”
Julie Gowen, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “This has been a challenging and intensive investigation as my team tirelessly pieced together the hours and minutes which led up to the death of Mr Fletcher in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
“Sindrey’s actions have not only destroyed the lives of Paul’s family and friends, but also her own family.
“Today’s outcome can never bring Paul back, but I hope it can bring his family some justice, and can give them some peace to allow them to move forward with their lives.”
