I’m a fat wife – trolls say my husband must be cheating as he could do so much better than me, but I know it’s true love
A ‘fat’ wife who is bravely documenting her weight-loss journey online has hit back at cruel trolls who taunt her by saying her husband could ‘do better’.
Carla and Larry White set up a fitness TikTok account together in September after Carla was left feeling insecure about her weight at her wedding.
The pair are undeniably in love[/caption] Larry goes to the gym daily and helps Carla with her plans[/caption]Fitness fan Larry offered to help his wife, who at her heaviest weighed 17st, reach her target weight of 10st after she refused to let him pick her up on their wedding day for romantic snaps.
The 29-year-old is helping to motivate 5ft 9in Carla to embrace a new fitness routine, and the pair document it on social media.
But the couple have been under fire from trolls who questioned why Larry married the 27-year-old content creator, amid a flurry of insults about her weight.

In response, the couple created a video where they listed common jibes on screen – including barbed remarks that marketing manager Larry is ‘probably cheating’ on Carla.
The video goes on to show Carla, who is now 15st, jiggling her body before the pair embrace – to show critics that they ‘don’t care’ about the remarks.
Although many commenters applauded the video, there were some who misunderstood the troll comments for ones written by Larry.

Carla, from San Diego, California, US, said: “The point of the video was to show the trolls that we don’t care.
“There was a large group of people who understood that, but some people thought Larry had written those comments about me.
“It was a misunderstanding. The people who took the time to check out our other TikTok videos got what we were going for.
“But that comes with the territory. The more viral your video goes, the more people there will be to find something negative to say.
“I’m very comfortable with the word ‘fat’, with calling myself ‘fat’. I think there is a misinterpretation – our profile is called ‘Carla and Larry’ for a reason.
“I’m human so of course there are moments when the comments get to me. But it’s not like I sit and cry about it.
“I’m a positive person so I try to focus on the women who see value in the videos we do. I get emails and messages everyday thanking me for not being ashamed of showing my true self.
“It’s amazing that people who don’t even know us have our back.”
Loyal Larry likes to let the negativity roll off him, as he said: “I just make sure to support my wife and make sure she’s not down. At the end of the day, there’ll be trolls attacking whatever you do.
