Lotto ticket worth $169,126 sold at San Jose convenience store
SAN JOSE — It was worth it for someone who braved Sunday’s storm to make it to a convenience store here as they purchased the winning California lottery Fantasy 5 game ticket worth $169,126, officials said.
It does not appear the winner has come forward yet.
The ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 4625 Albany Drive, tucked among the row of car dealerships on Stevens Creek Boulevard near Kiely Boulevard.
The winning numbers were 4, 11, 30, 32 and 39.
A store employee was both surprised and happy for whoever won when told of the news. “I didn’t know, nobody said anything,” he said in a phone interview. “Oh, wow. I’ll call my boss.”
The winner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
Fantasy 5 is played every night of the week. Monday’s night’s top prize was estimated to be at least $68,000.
