The discussion around gender is changing in fashion, and brands are starting to take notes. Nordstrom is one brand that continues move toward greater inclusivity. Take their new BP. + Wildfang collection, for example. Not only does it challenge gender norms with dope jumpsuits, blazers, slip dresses and short sets, but according to the website, “5% of total sales support workforce development programs that provide space and opportunity for Black, Latinx and Queer communities in fashion.”
Breaking gender norms in fashion is nothing new for Wildfang. As the brainchild of Emma Mcilroy, Wildfang has brought shoppers styles that don’t cater to specific genders or body types since 2013.
The new size-inclusive BP. + Wildfang collection goes up to a size 4X, and features a bunch of fun prints with relaxed silhouettes that are perfect for hanging out this summer. The line feature sick ‘fits, plus a plethora of accessories including this DIY Collar Tip Set, an earring set and a crossbody bag.
