- Shed Long is still working on rehabbing his right shin as he continues getting ABs in with the Arizona squad.
Injury update on Shed Long- he's in Arizona and getting regular ABs with the group there. Servais says he doesn't have any issue running and sprinting but stopping and change of direction is still a challenge as he continues to recover from the stress fracture in his right shin.

- MLB veteran Jay Bruce has announced his retirement after 14 fantastic seasons. Congrats on your amazing career and best of luck in retirement!
- Chicago White Sox RHP Lance Lynn has been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained back muscle. The team is hopeful that he will only need to miss one start.
- Former Mariner Anthony Swarzak has been DFA’d by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Swarzak will be replaced on the roster by J.B. Bukauskas, a RHP recalled from the team’s alternate site who was acquired as part of the 2019 Zack Grienke trade.
- Cleveland ace Shane Bieber has set a new MLB record, becoming the first pitcher to strike out at least 10 batters in each of his first four starts of the season.
