PG&E sets forum on
wildfire safety plans
Pacific Gas and Electric Co. will hold a webinar on Wednesday to discuss the utility’s wildfire prevention efforts and power shutoff improvement plans.
The session is set for noon and can be accessed at pge.com/firesafetywebinars. The utility’s safety team will also discuss vegetation management efforts.

Smoking ban proposed
at housing complexes
The Town Council has scheduled a hearing on a proposal to ban smoking at housing complexes.
The council plans to discuss the proposal at its meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday via teleconference. The ordinance would expand on the existing laws that prohibit smoking in public places, places of employment and other areas.

Terra Linda pool
open for lap swim
The Terra Linda community pool opened last week and is now open for residents to register for limited weekend lap swimming.
Residents may only reserve one lap swim time slot per day. Reservations are nonrefundable. More information is at cityofsanrafael.org/pools.
TIBURON
Workshop planned
on rising sea levels
The town is planning a community workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday about adapting to sea-level rise.
The forum is the first in a series of workshops set by officials working to update the town’s general plan.
