Eric Gordon Questionable Monday vs. Cavaliers
Gordon has been added to the injury report as questionable for Monday’s game vs. the Cavaliers due to a sore knee. Gordon was limited to just 22.7 minutes yesterday vs. the Grizzlies, but the Rockets ultimately lost that game by 49 points. It’s possible that the low minute count was due to his knee, but it’s also possible that it was due to the game being a blowout.
John Wall’s status for tonight’s contest is also unknown. He has typically sat in one game during back-to-back situations this season, and he was in the lineup last night. Victor Oladipo sat out yesterday for rest purposes, so it seems likely that they trade places tonight.
If Wall does sit, Oladipo would be asked to carry a larger workload than usual, particularly if Gordon is also out of the lineup. Christian Wood is still injured and DeMarcus Cousins has been released, so there aren’t a ton of high-usage players left on the Rockets’ roster.
The Rockets are currently listed as two-point favorites over the Cavaliers on FanDuel Sportsbook.
