Richard Commey and Jackson Marinez weighed in today for their 10-round fight Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas (ESPN).
Commey, the former lightweight champion, came in at 136 pounds, Marinez at 135.5
Commey (29-3, 26 KOs) is coming off a second-round knockout loss to Teofimo Lopez in December 2019, a setback that cost him his 135-pound title.
Marinez (19-1, 7 KOs) last fought this past August, when he lost a disputed decision to lightweight contender Rolando Romero for a vacant “interim” title.

ESPN will television two other fights on the card. Adam Lopez (14-2, 6 KOs) will face Jason Sanchez (15-2, 8 KOs) in a 10-round featherweight bout. They both weighed 126, the division limit.
And Jared Anderson (7-0, 7 KOs) and Kingsley Ibeh (5-1-1, 4 KOs) weighed 249 and 276, respectively, for their six-round heavyweight bout.
Three more fights will be streamed on ESPN+. They are:
