Manhattan's Hampton Inn loses millions of dollars after fire

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) -- After days of investigation, the Manhattan Fire Department estimated that the Hampton Inn in Manhattan lost $5 million after a fire on Jan. 20.
The fire loss to the building is estimated at $2.5 million and the loss of contents is also estimated at $2.5 million.
The cause of the fire is accidental due to construction workers cutting on the roof.
