Girl, 10, in critical condition after woman ‘tries to shoot a dog outside her home & hits the child instead’
A TEN-year-old girl is in critical condition after cops said a woman “tried to shoot a dog outside her home and hit the child instead.”
Kimberly Renee Luter, 34, has been charged with aggravated assault in the Thursday incident.

As cops began their investigation, The Marion County Sheriff’s office said they found that Luter “was attempting to shoot at a dog” when bullets went through a home, hitting the 10-year-old.
Cops with the Columbia Police escorted the girl to a local hospital.
The child was then airlifted to University Medical Center in Jackson in critical condition, police said.
As of Friday, the child was still listed in critical condition.
Luter has been charged with aggravated assault[/caption]Cops served a search warrant on the house, where they found marijuana, along with weighing and packing materials.
Luter was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Her boyfriend, Rkeen Antwuan Daniels, 29, was also taken into custody.
Daniels was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute in connection with the items found during the warrant search, cops said.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
