I can’t stop worrying about what other people say about me behind my back
DEAR DEIDRE: HOW do I stop worrying about what people think of me?
I am a woman of 28 and really want to be more self-confident.
Thinking about what other people might be saying about me consumes me[/caption]But thinking what other people might be saying about me behind my back consumes me.
I imagine they are plotting against me because they don’t like me.
And if I hear people laugh, I assume they are laughing about me for some reason.
It is so horrible to feel plagued like this.
How do I become more confident?
